
Hi! I am Paul. I am a Level Designer at Ubisoft Montréal specialized in Technical and Narrative Design, with proven experience across indie, AA, and AAA productions. I craft memorable player-driven experiences that seamlessly blend gameplay and narrative, delivering compelling, immersive moments through pacing, world-building, and impactful systemic storytelling.
My strengths rely on my curiosity for creative arts: I grew up around video games (Pandemic Battlefront II, Black Box NFS, Jak series), movies (Star Wars, The Matrix), music (piano) and drawings. This fuels my desire to tell meaningful stories inspired by the movie industry, computer-assisted music, photography medias, through concept art, architecture and 3D art works.
I specialized in cinematic narrative-driven action-adventure and RPG experiences built in linear or open areas. I aim to craft engaging gameplay merged with impactful narrative sequences: building grounded characters in immersive worlds, evolving along a strong storyline. I use game design techniques, technical prototyping skills and creative processes as a Mission, Quest and Open-world designer, aiming to spark player curiosity and emotions.
